I usually just say that I’m a “Software Developer”, but I’m less of that, and more of a Jack-of-all-trades. My day job consists of writing C# & SQL, troubleshooting (just about anything), diagnosing network issues, writing documentation, releasing software, and making sure our status dashboards show green and not red. I get to play with some fun tools, and work with some incredibly smart people.
I’ve always had a passion for security, and spend a lot of time reading and learning new tools. After attending several security conferences, meetups, and chatting with folks online, I have a new appreciation for InfoSec, and I’ve found my new calling.
Back in January 2014, I launched NetworthShare, a web application I created that lets people track their net worth. People seem to enjoy it, and it’s fun to work on.
