Welcome!

Of the 1,175,392,792 websites on the internet, somehow you found my tiny rented space.

Fixing things that are broke… When people ask what I do, I usually just say that I’m a “Software Developer” since most people understand what that is, and that’s what I used to do full time. In reality, I’m a jack-of-all-trades and do whatever needs to be done. At any given time I’m standing up new servers, investigating security issues, fixing bugs, digging through databases, creating new tools, mentoring new hires, cracking jokes, being the butt of jokes, laughing, swearing, and generally having fun.

…breaking things that aren’t. Ever since I was a kid I would take things apart. I like to know what makes things tick, how they work, and sometimes you need to crack them open to find out. Whether it’s a server, software, door lock, or whatever happens to be behind the sign that says “Do Not Open”, I want to know what’s inside. I’ve always been a tinkerer & enjoy hacking into servers (legally of course), and participating in Capture The Flag (CTF) events.

At the end of the day, I just want to solve hard problems, play with fun tools, and work with incredibly smart people :)
